Hello, I'm Carolyn, the artist behind Barefootbutterfly Studio. I was raised in the small town of Fort Langley, British Columbia & now call
Rosedale BC, Canada my home. 
Painting on people & things, creating art & then taking photographs to bring it all together is my way to make our world a lovely place to be.            
​  From the beginning of my photographic journey in 1986, I have had a passion for helping women see their amazing inner beauty,
​ outwardly in images that halt time.
 Majoring in fine art and photography at Kwantlen University, I gained the technical knowledge I needed to capture feelings of color & light
 in my art & photos.
Having completed my Nail Technician , Aesthetics, & Make up Artistry training almost 30 yrs ago, I have had many wonderful experiences creating beautiful art for and on people as well :)
