I did the nails in the album below, prior to the modern practice of pinching a narrow c- curve into the nail while the acrylic is still soft enough to shape it. It wasn't until around 2008 that this became popular and is now an essential part of my acrylic nail application procedure to give the nails a narrow shape & avoid flare at the tip of the nail.
I look at the nails below & think back to when i did them... I wished back then that there was a way they could be narrower with all the strength but sadly if they had been filed narrower, they would have lacked the strength and durability that my active clients require. Now that we 'pinch' the nail as part of our regular routine when applying enhancements, we can get that narrow look with all of the strength and durability we need in a new full set :)
